I started using the Digivibe Injection Pain Relief Device mainly to help with the discomfort from regular injections and I’ve been pleased by how well it works. The little vibration mechanism is stronger than I expected but not in an overwhelming way. It’s just enough to distract your nerves and take the edge off. The device is small, easy to hold and simple to turn on and off which matters when you’re already trying to manage supplies and timing. I’ve used it for both injections and finger pricks and in both cases it noticeably reduces that initial sting. It doesn’t eliminate sensation entirely but it definitely makes the whole experience more tolerable. I also appreciate that it works as a kind of numbing cream alternative without any mess or waiting time. Just turn it on, place it near the injection site and go. For anyone who deals with regular glucose checks, insulin, semaglutide or anything similar and especially if you get anxious about needles, this is a surprisingly helpful little tool. I wouldn't say it's a one for one alternative to numbing cream but it's helpful. I have been using this WITH the numbing cream and it makes things way more comfortable for me. I'm glad to have this!

This is a battery-powered device with a nubbed loop at the end that you apply to your finger to "buzz" a bit of numbness into nerve endings before using a glucose monitor. It comes with a little lance device. I take semaglutide injections and while my needles are super super fine, I was still curious to see if this changed the way the injections felt. It's better to flip the nubby end to the flatter side for use on other skin areas like arms or legs. I didn't trust myself to go sticking a needle through the loop and into my skin while it was vibrating, so I had the plunger ready right after I pulled the loop away. It does work, and it's easy to press the button off and on for an extra quick bit of vibration.

I don't like needles! I picked up this vibration device hoping it would take the edge off my injections, and I'm honestly impressed. I think this is capitalizing on the same concept that dentists use where they kind of shake your cheek while giving you a shot and it helps reduce the amount of pain the is experienced during the shot even though you don't have any actual anesthetic applied. It seems like it's well built, nice and small, easy to use and functionally it vibrates like it says.

As someone who does regular injections, this device has officially made its way into my “actually makes a difference” category. Now, I did have to take away a few stars though.....follow me. The vibration distracts your nerves so well that needle pain goes from “brace yourself” to “was that it?” It feels like the gentlest little buzz, more soothing than clinical. HOWEVER...I ran into this issue where once the needle is inserted, I kinda bump the the device sometimes and it makes it So TERRIFYING. It may just be a learning curve but it can be tricky using this device with only one hand and then the other inserting the needle into yourself. I do still like the device though but I use it differently. I instead use the device to "Prep" the area that is about to be injected. So that looks like me holding the device with vibration activated for 20-30 seconds, turning it off and Then injecting in the same area. Overall, the tiny tool takes the edge off a big routine.

I decided to try the Digivibe because while I have been poking my fingers to monitor blood glucose for 4 years up to 15 times a day now with no problem, I recently had to start meal time insulin injections and was finding that to be more of a challenge in regards to needle discomfort. Maybe other areas are just more sensitive? In any case I was hoping that this would make the experience at least less painful. The Digivibe comes with the Digivibe device, a lancet device that fits through the opening on the Digivibe sonic tip, a lithium battery, and user manual. NOTE: There are no lancets provided, so you can use the ones you like. I tried the three types I have and they all worked. My two lancing pens also work with the device which saved me the trial and error of figuring out a needle setting for the new device. The device seems to be well made and it is easy to change batteries etc. I have found the device to be a bit loud and it makes insulin injection a bit more of a project. With the Digivibe it takes two hands. One to place and operate the Digivibe and the other to manipulate the needle. So I wouldn't want to use this in a public place as there is no way to do so discretely. I also think it would be a bit loud and stimulating for use on a sleeping child during night time checks. So for me while technically it is easy to use, in actual use I found it to be a bit of a project. I tried it on my fingers for this review and found that it tends to trigger my Reynaud's. I tried it with my own lancing devices and with the one that came with the Digivibe. Luckily I don't mind finger sticks. I did find that any pain after a finger stick was less but that could have been the Reynaud's causing some numbness. I cannot say that it helped at all with insulin injections on my abdomen or hips. In fact I think that it made the area to be injected a bit more sensitive. That may be a learning curve or the device. After 4 days of trying it out I gave up. A friend who is also diabetic and hates finger sticks tried it with her own lancing device and said it made a big difference for her. So based on that I'd say it is worth a try if you can't use numbing creams or they are not covered by your insurance. If it works for you it is a well made device that should last a long time before it needs replacement other tan a fresh battery so it would be well worth the money spent. Be aware that others report that it doesn't fit all injectable devices for things like GLPs in particular, and it may not work with your favorite lancing device.

I'll preface this to say I'm absolutely terrible when it comes to anything to do with needles. This is definitely a handy device in design and concept to help tame the pain (and anxiety) from injections, to a point. I had trouble keeping the unit steady while also holding the lancing device or injection pen in the other hand. The vibration is really strong, and at such a frequency that the whole pen vibrates. I would have liked to see the pen casing be more sturdy so it was more the tip vibrating than the whole thing. I feel like I had trouble keeping it steady in one place, it was kind of sliding around unless I pressed the tip down really hard. If I pressed too hard the unit stopped vibrating. I was pleased with how straightforward the instructions were and it was easy to get started. Like others have pointed out, it won't help with all injectable situations and I'd say it's functionality is best suited for glucose monitoring (like in my case) or syringe injections. You can't quite put a price on relief from needle anxiety, but I'm not sure I'd pay such a high price for this item.

I got very curious when I saw this device so I decided to order it to see if it’s effective. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT: 1. My first impression was that the vibration device itself could look more polished in relation to its value. 2. It’s light in weight, which is good, but it doesn’t look very sturdy to me. 3. This device uses one AA battery which is included in the box. 4. I was actually pleasantly surprised that an AA battery can power this device. 5. When compared to other devices that vibrate, the intensity of the vibration is very high, and so is the vibration speed. 6. The surface of the tip of this device is textured, which helps put pressure on the skin which basically results in some desensitization. The device is not too long so it’s pretty easy to use because it feels ergonomic, 7. I feel that it does help a little bit when it comes to numbing the area temporarily. However, I don’t feel that it’s fully effective in taking the sensation away, but I expected that. 8. I think parents could use this device, but it’s quite loud. 9. It doesn’t come with a pouch so I have to be careful where I put it because the device itself doesn’t feel sturdy. 10. It’s very easy to clean, but I don’t think it’s waterproof. 11. This set comes with a lancing device although I’m not sure about universal compatibility. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I think that there’s definitely a use for this product, but I don’t feel that it’s cost-effective and worth its value mainly due to its build.

This has a super strong vibration mechanism, much more than other device I’ve tried. The pen holds steady against the injection site and the encircled area allows for plenty of space for injections. It also helps hold the skin taut when using. It was easier to use than expected. It does make me slightly nervous that the skin is moving a bit, but if you hold it firmly against the skin, I don’t see any real movement. I don’t know how this seems to work hit it somehow temporarily numbs and almost distracts you from the injection. Really cool. Value wise, there aren’t too many things like this on the market. I would, however have preferred a rechargeable device at this price.

Digivibe Vibration Device for Injection Pain Relief: It Works! Vibrating the skin of the intended area chosen for injection causes a numbing sensation of the nerves where the device is being applied, thus allowing for an almost completely pain free needle stick. Nothing can stop you from “seeing” or anticipating the needle (especially if you need to inject yourself) and thus those psychological factors alone can sometimes cause more pain than the actual physical pain of the injection itself. However, since this device does help with the actual physical pain I think it can also greatly lessen needle anxiety over time as a user experiences less or even no pain, and thus will be able to relax prior to and during the administration of “the needle”. I definitely felt my skin and sub-q area go numb while using the Digivibe and wouldn’t have even noticed the needle at all except for the fact that I was giving it to myself. I can imagine that for children this would be a very helpful tool. Uses one AA battery, which is included in the box for you to install. Also comes with an extensive instructions booklet. It seems to be a well made and sturdy product that has been designed well for home medical use. Seems to work well to reduce and eliminate any pain with injections. It works by making your nerves overwhelmed by the vibrations so the injection is just hard to focus on. I really like the idea. The design is good, the tip is plastic and removable if you need to replace or clean. I wish the tip was a bit of a larger ring to accommodate other types of lancing tools. Duarability wise, the unit is sturdy, unsure about the tip, but I guess that's why they sell replacement tips. I found it easy to use, pop in the batteries, place the tip on your skin for 15-20 sec. It's pretty compact, so I can toss this in my medical pouch. Good value for the money if you really struggle with pain and needles.

I tried this Injection Pain Relief Vibration Device for regular use for glucose monitoring as well as with Mounjaro GLP injections. It requires two free hands for glucose monitoring and has a provision for holding the device on a table so you can use only one hand, but it does not include it in the package. It is a separate add-on purchased separately. Too bad as this made it harder for me to evaluate, but it should work OK if you have a helper to hold the device and the lancet plunger at the same time. And with the Muonjaro pens, this device just plain does not work. The unique device from Eli Lily does not fit the piercing part of their injector into this device. If you use a plain old syringe, you're in luck. So I love the concept here, just be careful it will work for your application and needs. The quality is good, but ease of use will depend a great deal on your specific circumstances.

Used it twice so far but it definitely does the job of “numbing” the finger or skin so that the needle prick isn’t felt. I have to do injections on my body and as long as I use it with the little prong pieces down (the intended way to use), it works great. If stops working as well if you press too hard to make note of that. It can be some trial and error before you find the right pressure to properly numb your skin. Super easy to use. It comes with a battery that just pops in the back and it’s a single power button. It does also have a booklet of instructions but really not too necessary if you’re like me and only use the actual vibration stick piece. It fits perfectly in my hand and can be held while putting pressure on your own finger. Honestly a great tool if it’s within your price range/ depending on how often you have to use it!

I was skeptical if this would work, but when I tried it to check my sugar on my finger, there was no pain when this was used. I gave myself an insulin shot using this device, and again, no pain. Just to be sure it wasn't just me, I asked my wife to use it when she checked her sugar, and she got the same results, with almost no pain felt. Very impressed. Kit came with a lancing device for finger pricks, which I did not test since we each have our own, and also an Engerizer Lithium battery. Overall, a good tool for those who hate the pain of injections.

My son recently started a treatment that will require daily injections for the next two years. He was really nervous because he is afraid of needles and would cry during blood draws and vaccines. Thanks to Digivibe, he no longer has anxiety and is comfortable taking his medication every day.

I have been using the Digivibe for my Ozempic injections and it has made a huge difference. I used to dread the weekly shots, but the vibration really helps minimize the pain and makes the process feel quick and easy. It is such a small change, but it has completely changed how I feel about doing my injections. If you are on Ozempic or any injectable medication, this is absolutely worth trying!

It's normal to be skeptical in this day and age with all the gimmicks out there. I give myself an injection on a weekly basis in my left side abdomen. I'm not a fan of the needle prick in that area, or any other area. I've found the answer to the discomfort that a needle prick causes. The digivibe tool is a simple, user friendly device, and i'm shocked at the results it provides. I didn't even feel the pain! That is the first thing I said to my husband. lol I recommend this product 100% if your looking for a tool that eliminates the pain caused by a needle prick.

This product actually works. It's a brain tease, because I really thought I would feel something. I have a fear of any shot, prick - if there is a point I start to sweat. I highly recommend this. For little kids? Wow. This can help so many parents deal with fear and pain. Worth a try.
